#Chapman was a #literaryMagazine based in #Edinburgh, #Scotland. It has published many Scottish and international authors, including #IainCrichtonSmith, #AlasdairGray, #SorleyMacLean and #KathleenRaine. It covered new poetry and short fiction, as well as critical essays and reviews. It was started in 1970 as The Chapman, a pamphlet edited by #GeorgeHardie and #WalterPerrie. #RobertCalder, #JoyHendry and Walter Perrie edited the magazine during 1975.

What’s the chance of a queer, black woman, #TracyChapman, being the 1st black woman to have a solo songwriting credit on a #1 country hit! And she’ll be at the #Grammys to perform a duet of “Fast Car” with #LukeCombs!
"#Chapman’s appearance comes as a significant surprise, as she has only performed for the cameras three times since wrapping up her last tour in 2009, and the singer had thus far resisted the popular demand to take advantage of the resurgence of “#FastCar” as an international phenomenon.”
