The internet is one of the greatest technologies ever invented by known sapient beings, it allows us to be interconnected and makes a global civilization even more possible.

So because of that we should fight every bit to defend it from capitalist trying to monopolize it and take control of it, the internet is the collective property of all sapient beings

Legalism is an insufficient way of solving problems, because it doesn't matter how much you make something illegal, people are still going to do it anyways, like for example drunk driving is illegal yet people do it anyways.

Rather instead of just making something illegal and not thinking about it after that, we should think about this scientifically, about the material conditions that lead people to do those type of things, and come up with a solution that will actually help people and fix the problem

In all my times in politics and all that, I still have no idea what dialectics actually are, like I have had multiple people try to explain it to me and I'm still confused, so I'm just going to ask this question with a few tags I think will attract the most educated and well read people to explain it to me.

Honestly I feel like while the terms communism and socialism have been corrupted, with the way that most people who call themselves Communists are authoritarian tankies and most people who call themselves socialist are Social Democrats. I feel like the word anarchism is the one word that hasn't changed. Like people who don't know what anarchism is think it's just chaos, but to the people who actually call themselves anarchist still stick to its original meaning. And advocate for a society without hierarchy. Honestly I feel like the word anarchist is the only word that hasn't been corrupted compared to those other two

Conservatism is the ultimate evil (the preservation of constraint), while the rejection of constraint whether artificial or natural constraints represents the ultimate freedom, the freedom to do and to literally be anything. The infinite rainbow of freedom and liberation is what we should all be striving for

Many people have old class narratives for why fascism is rising across the world, such as economic anxiety and others, narratives I have even promoted in the past, however me being a more 21st century intersectional feminist and a pro-tech leftist, I propose a different hypothesis.

I think what's going on is that the internet is a revolutionary technology that has accelerated social progress when it comes to the awareness of marginalized groups, such as queer people, alterhumans, plural systems and more.

It has also created a more global and interconnected world, to the point that authoritarian regimes have to censor the internet, because now any atrocity is now instantly known across the world, even when a US aligned country like Israel commits an atrocity it's no longer possible to hide it.

And I think because of all of the above, I think there's a global reactionary backlash to the accelerated social progress and interconnectedness the internet has created. As you will notice, the reactionary backlash exists regardless of ideology.

From fascist who I don't have to explain why are opposed to it, to transphobic liberals, to communist who see queer people as bourgeois decadence. essentially what's happening is all reactionary forces are uniting regardless of ideology to oppose the accelerated social progress and liberation of marginalized groups, or what these people call "wokeness."

in fact I'll go as far as say it's the reason why now the reactionary forces are trying to censor the internet with things like project 2025. Because they're so scared of the way the internet is creating an interconnected world, that they're afraid of the possibility of it taking away their power.

ultimately the 21st century will be the battle between ultimate progressivism and ultimate conservatism within the ruins of liberalism.

The truth is that socialism has many definitions. Some people define it as government regulations within capitalism. While others define it as the workers controlling the means of production. And if you include tankies they define it as a transitional period to communism.

It's for this reason why I feel like we should go for a new label. since these old labels have been so corrupted and bloated that people can't even agree on what these words even mean.

The truth is that in the 21st century, most people use the word socialism to refer to reformist. While using the word communism to refer to Marxist leninist regimes like the USSR or even authoritarian regimes that are formerly but no longer Marxist leninist like the PRC.

It's for this reason that I think that we have a unique opportunity to rebrand the original definition of what socialism was under a new label. That way appearing as something fresh and new again to people. Since when the system is failing people want an alternative they feel is new and different. not something they feel has already been tried and failed

So I've read a bit of #Bookchin 's #PostScarcity (riddled with historical errors), and then a good chunk of #Woodcock 's #Anarchism (more interesting, but not convincing), and finally #Chomsky 's #OnAnarchism (the sweet spot).

Chomsky isn't dogmatic. He lives in the real world and makes pragmatic arguments. Dismantling the state is an ultimate goal, but if you go straight for that, a) people get hurt in the meantime, and b) you fail anyway. Chomsky's anarchism is what I can identify with.

I think since in mainstream politics Elon musk has become the face of all things related to Tech. And because of that people are now becoming more anti-tech because of that. I think we left transhumanists need to unite. Since currently as it stands now the pro tech type of leftist is very rare. So because of that we need to create an alliance to slowly break the duopoly between the tech Bros and the anti-tech people until our ideas become mainstream.

Politics

Something I hate is the way Elon Musk is making people more anti-tech now. Honestly there needs to be an alternative to the primitivist and the tech bros. We need to construct a left-wing transhumanist movement

The problem with democracy is that there's always the possibility of the majority giving away their power to a single leader or group out of fear, misinformation or manipulation, thereby destroying the democracy from within. We have seen it happen across history. From Julius Caesar in the Roman Republic. To Hitler in the Weimar Republic. To Putin in the Russian Federation. And now Donald Trump within the United States.

The only way to truly have a society with permanent freedom, is to have a society where no one rules above another. Where everyone is their own ruler, an administration over things rather than sentient beings. Technocratic Anarchy. The rule of all over things rather than the rule of all over all
