Way more images of the lunar sunset from #BlueGhost dropped moments ago in a 1-minute video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IpA9DORDkeE and on https://www.flickr.com/photos/fireflyspace/54395416629/ where also some more stills are included - interpretation remains up to the viewer as at the press conference which just ended they just had no clues.
Rise and shine! Firefly’s #BlueGhost lander captured its first sunrise on the Moon, marking the beginning of the lunar day and the start of surface operations in its new home. Our #GhostRiders have already begun operating many of the 10

payloads aboard the lander and will continue operations over the next two weeks and into the lunar night. #BGM1.

They began the #BlueGhost presser with two pictures taken at / after sunset ... which they then didn't discuss further so far: on the left the Sun on the horizon and Venus (the dot) and Earth (overexposed) above it, on the right some glow over the Sun below the horizon which requires further analysis. So there ...
