Wrek Anthony
Would you look at that. My Mastodon account is directly linked to my BlueSky account, yet my Mastodon followers actually dropped from 254 to 253.

I tried an experiment a week or so ago, to see if Mastodon throttles, or otherwise limits posts from being seen, regardless of the amount of hash tags used.

I had one reply, and it was from a guy following Blue Sky.

Meanwhile my BlueSky account is approaching 12,000, folks actually see my posts, and engage.

This platform seems to have grabbed Twitters exodus, and left the rest of us stagnant and in follower purgatory.

#bluesky

Wrek Anthony
Hey, US government.
Your lease isn’t up for 11 more days. Get back to work!

Wrek Anthony
Mastodon throttles accounts!

Anyone who doesn’t think Mastodon throttles accounts, and sends them into no follower purgatory, must know something I don’t.

Two years, I’ve been here, and my followers are still at 250, which is exactly the same as it was the first week I joined.

Posts go nowhere.

I joined BlueSky, and within three months, my account has 7800 followers. I just gained 3000 overnight!

WTF Mastodon? You promoted your platform as an alternative to X.

Wrek Anthony
Well, it’s been two weeks, and I’m up to 1700 followers on BlueSky, while still absolutely stagnant here on Mastodon, with 250 after over a year!

That tells me mastodon is just like the other sites that throttle, and moderate peopleto nowhere land.

So much for decentralized, alternative to X.

Wrek Anthony
I’m trying an experiment with BlueSky, to see if they throttle accounts, or not. So far, my account is getting about 20 new followers per day. We will see if that continues.

Meanwhile my Mastodon account has been stagnant, with 254 followers for over a year.

I’m not greedy, but this is ridiculous. I left X because of throttling, stifling, and bias moderating.

Wrek Anthony
Are preemptive pardons a good thing?

Remember, the folks who attempted to hold Trump accountable, are being targeted by the most corrupt republicans in American politics.

These folks will have their lives destroyed by Trump’s vindictive retribution.

They will face $millions in unwarranted legal fees, that will bankrupt them.

Sure, there is a question about pardoning the innocent. Will it appear as a sign of guilt?

To the ones seeking revenge, it might. To the bogus GOP committees, with an agenda to drag the innocent through hell and back, just because they were given the power to do so, it might.

However, the real guilty party got away with every crime he committed, because his corrupt, lawmakers in congress and the USSC protected him.

Now, the world is stuck cleaning up their mess.

They won’t protect the innocent!

President Biden must.

Call it a pardon, protection from abuse of power, safeguarding honesty and truth, before truth no longer matters!

Do it.

Wrek Anthony
Hegseth says he’ll stop drinking if he is confirmed secretary of defense:

Yeah. Every alcoholic I’ve ever met, says they’ve quit drinking, just before they take another drink.

They hide vodka in water bottles, coffee cups, and sneak a drink whenever they can.

All you have to do is look in their eyes, or smell their breath. It’s obvious.

If a soldier shows up to work drunk, they can lose their rank, face court martial, get thrown out of the military.

Imagine the example this would set. The boss is always drunk, and gets away with it.

This sounds like the Trump campaign is setting a pattern of inappropriate behavior across the board.

https://www.mymilitarylawyers.com/ucmj-article-112-drunkenness-and-other-incapacitation-offenses/

Wrek Anthony
Hmmm. Nov 26, 2022 is the day I moved from Musk’s Twitter to Mastodon, due to the platform’s throttling my posts, and leaving my account in limbo.

The week I joined Mastodon, my account received about 250 followers. My philosophy, has always been that I follow back those who follow me.

Yet, two years into Mastodon, my posts reach only a handful of followers, and my account has received almost zero new followers since the week I joined.

Some have suggested I try another server. I did, but the smaller servers have not survived.

This server is tied to universeodon, which seems to be the largest server out there, so this doesn’t make sense.

Wrek Anthony
President Biden pardoned his son Hunter:

There is no doubt Hunter was targeted by Trump loyalists in congress. The republican efforts to defame the Biden’s as “the Biden crime family”, without evidence, is well documented. Republicans absolutely weaponized the DOJ to go after the president’s son, in an attempt to hurt president Biden. They went after a private citizen, through politically motivated committees and bogus hearings, and interfered in his criminal cases, that would have normally been dismissed, or faced minimal consequences.

Meanwhile, Trump got away with every crime he committed, and has repeatedly said he would pardon himself if re-elected.

Trump will also pardon the Jan 6 insurrectionists, and his corrupt loyalists in congress, while seeking retribution against everyone who tried to hold him accountable.

There will be moaning, groaning, and grumbling on the hill, about president Biden’s choice to pardon his son.

So what?

GOP hypocrites!

Hey republicans:

Don’t accuse democrats of wanting to defund the police, and then praise Gaetz for wanting to completely abolish the FBI, the CDC, and everyone in the DOJ who tried to hold Trump accountable.

The outright hypocrisy is already rearing its ugly head, and they haven’t even taken over the administration yet.

Jack Smith should move forward with his case against Trump, instead of shutting it down.

They won’t show democrats the same courtesy.

Now that Trump is thinking of Matt Gaetz for AG, what do we think he will do?

Go after every democrat who tried to hold Trump accountable?

Merrick Garland, Jack Smith, Mike Pence, Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, Adam Schiff, Nancy Pelosi, and every democrat in congress!

Only this time, they control all three branches of government, and will most likely add two more cronies to the USSC.

So much for separation of power!

There are literally no more checks and balances, the moment Trump takes the oath.

Contrary to popular belief: democrats are not a check and balance to republicans, and vice versa. Political parties are not recognized by our constitition.

The three branches of government are checks and balances to each other, unless they have been corrupted, in which case, it is unconstitutional.

Then we have a problem of tyranny, which our founders were adamantly against.

Tyranny + corruption + absolute power = autocracy.

All of the charges against Trump are being dropped by DOJ. Jack Smith is retiring as Special Prosecutor, two months before Trump takes over America.

I’m beginning to think it was all political theater!

Not one single politician who participated in the biggest scam in American history will be held accountable for election fraud.

-Accusing democrats of cheating in the 2020 election, to distract their supporters from noticing republicans were cheating.

-Pushing their “Stop the Steal” slogan, while conspiring to create fake electors, and literally steal the election from Joe Biden.

-Plotting and enacting an attack on the US Capitol.

-Stealing classified documents, and disclosing them to our enemies.

-Two impeachments

-Dozens of charges, over four indictments

…and absolutely NOTHING will happen to Trump, or any of them!

It’s like they were playing a football game, keeping us all hanging until the very last second, and then cancelling the game!

What a crock of shit!

Where’s the Big Mac?

My daughter said she was picking up lunch. She stopped off at McDonald’s.
I asked her to get me a Big Mac.

Here’s what I got!

They cut everything in half, to the point where the “beef” is the size of a White Castle patty. The bread is literally 1/4 inch thick, and even the sauce was a sloppy mess.

The pickle is as thick as the beef patty!

Is this what paying high school students who have never worked a day in their lives, $15 per hour gets us?

NATO is at risk, the moment Trump takes office:

Putin would love the USA to pull out of NATO. It would give Putin free reign, to attack neighboring countries.

Trump would love to make Putin happy. He just spoke with Putin Thursday.
If that doesn’t raise red flags, I don’t know what does.

Before Trump even takes office, he’s calling his buddy, who spread election disinformation on a national scale, to help him lie his way back into the white house.

It doesn’t matter how much money the USA owes NATO, or how much money NATO members don’t pay, versus what the USA pays.

NATO is the most important alliance the world has ever seen, and that alone, makes it worth saving.

Putin should have no say, in what the USA does, regarding NATO!

Here we go again!

Some democrats are suggesting USSC justice Sotomayor should step down:

Are they nuts?

Remember when Obama tried to appoint Merrick Garland?

What did crooked republicans do?

They pushed another lie!

“A president can’t appoint a USSC justice in their final year”

That crock of shit is not supported by any law, policy, or the constitution, yet democrats didn’t challenge it in the actual USSC.

Democrats didn’t hold Mitch McConnell in contempt of congress!

It was Obama’s right to appoint a justice.

Republicans refused to allow the president his legal right to appoint USSC justices, then Trump rammed through three justices in his first year.

Furthermore, they wouldn’t allow him to appoint anyone who wasn’t an absolute, right wing, pro-life patsy.

Talk about obstruction!

Imagine what they’ll do if Biden tries to appoint a justice in his final months, and risks losing Sotomayor.

Don’t risk losing another justice to bullshit republican politics!

BBC News · Supreme Court Justice Sotomayor ignores pressure to retire - reports - BBC NewsThe 70-year-old liberal justice plans to stay on the bench, as Donald Trump accuses Democrats of rushing to appoint judges.

Now that the dust is settling over the election, there is one question I can’t seem to get off my mind:

Where did almost 10 million democrat votes go?

Joe Biden won 81 million votes in 2020. Trump’s numbers are almost identical to the 2020 election. The numbers speak for themselves.

People were energized when Harris took over for Joe Biden, so where did 10 million democrat votes go?

Did they stay home, and not vote? I can’t imagine that.

I can say with absolute certainty, that several democrats came to my polling station, saying they only received their mail in ballot the day before the election.

Did Louis DeJoy have anything to do with that?

In the face of the guy, and the party of dishonesty, and disinformation, perhaps this is something to look into.

Where did all of those votes go?

Perhaps this time, democrats should be chanting “Stop the Steal!”

Replied to Wrek Anthony

While it is true, democrats impeached Trump twice, and the Jan 6 committee did attempt to show America the truth:

Democrats did nothing to stop the media disinformation machine, that has been allowed to brainwash half of America.

The first amendment was designed to allow citizens to speak the truth about a corrupt government, without fear of being arrested, charged with treason, and shot or hanged.

It was never meant to give politicians and media a blanket right to lie.

Democrats failed to legislate safeguards to protect our elections from corruption, disinformation, and foreign interference.

When crooked republicans blocked democrats at every turn, the DOJ should have been ruthless, in the face of corruption.

They should have rooted out corruption, and protected our democracy.

Instead, they thought they could just vote them out.

Tell that to Putin, Xi Jinping, and Un!

Trump is not afraid to be ruthless, to eliminate his enemies!

You could have stopped him!
