#CommunityBuilding takes time. It needs conscious discussions, active listening, willingness to change, naming griefs and joys and struggles, unlearning oppressive behaviors, and learning how to give and recieve care and support.
It's not easy. But it is worth it.
We are all deserving of care, #justice, #equity, #support, respect, and the ability to bring our whole selves to our community. We start by naming what needs changed. May the journey not end there but continue. #CommunityCare
