#WritersCoffeeClub February 4th: Do you ever read back your work and surprise yourself with what you've written?

My stories are written to my tastes. I never thought I’d be a person to read my own stories until I realized one of the reasons I write is because I have opinions on how stories should go. Also, the nature of editing makes for a better story than the ones in my head. So if they’re finished they’re always better than I thought they were and an easy read.
