Nick's Iron Law of Blockchain: Blockchain solves exactly one problem: it is a zero-false positive bullshit detector. Whenever someone says 'you can solve X with blockchain' you now know that person is full of shit and should be ignored.

I think what it does tell us is that the guy running Reddit is radioactive cancer. People need to flee that platform. I know they tried when it started pulling its bullshit a year or two ago, but people need to leave all big tech platforms.
(And yeah, Substack falls in that category) at least planting a flag in a non-exploitative platform like ghost signal and of course the fediverse is a big step
