wherein a crypto bro KOL claims that stealing $1.4 billion worth from to fund their nuclear weapons program is a "bullish sign of growth for the industry".

@cryptadamist

I mean this shit is like Dr. Strangelove Kubrick style comedy. I’ll let you decide who’s playing general Jack Ripper.

Do you have any idea of where the money is flowing too? I mean this in a very general sense like more money going to China more money going to Russia or more money going to the United States or is it really just distributed all over?

@GhostOnTheHalfShell
it's definitely not coming to the united states lol.

there's many factors but i think it's mostly going to china or chinese non-state actors (especially if you include North Korea, though i'm talking mostly about the triads etc).

one example is mining... the bitcoin mining companies in the US are all in debt to their eyeballs because they need to buy the mining rigs... which are made by a Chinese company (). so in a way the entire american bitcoin mining "industry" is just a way to siphon capital out of the american markets and send it to back to mainland china.

but there's some countervailing / offsetting flows, like the way Tether etc. are facilitating chinese people's ability to get their money *out* of china.

net-net it's pretty hard to say as far as whether mainland china is up or down, but what's very clear is that offshore / transnational organized crime is way, way, WAY up on the trade.

@cryptadamist

So you mean tech, billionaires, and assorted other unsavory character characters?

@GhostOnTheHalfShell no i mean literally the chinese mafia that operates out of places like Macau and Singapore and routinely murders people.

@cryptadamist

And on another level, there is no real public discourse about this main feature of the supposed cryptocurrency future nothing in the press is pushing this into any public discourse, saying this is what the PayPal mafia wants to run the world on it is unworkable as well as being criminally fraudulent and utter fucking chaos.

Crypto could never be a monetary system for a stable financial environment. And I’m not certain that the PayPal mafia nut jobs actually understand this.

@cryptadamist

They are too busy with the berserker blood lust that they are going to actually take over the world yet history demonstrates none of their libertarian utopias work.

Their mania as a complete the coup is a means. The end is to erase us parasites and repopulate the world with “techno genius” progeny.

They’ve raised army of groomed techno-nerd children in their special education camps.

Cryptobros: This is good for Bitcoin.
