One vote to make a difference

I called the SSA for the first time yesterday afternoon. The wait time was 30 minutes, so I opted for a callback. Since it was a Friday, I assumed someone might call me on Monday, if at all. But at 9:00 PM, my phone rang, it was the SSA! The agent was friendly and helpful but informed me that she wouldn’t be able to follow up due to job cuts.
