My hatred for Mitch McConnell is still hotter than what I feel for the #SCOTUS. For blocking Obama's pick and for not leading the Senate to convict Trump which would have barred him from holding office in the future. Also, the complete hypocrisy of how Amy Coney-Barrett was quick-walked into a hearing only weeks before the election. Ugh.

If you have access to HBO/MAX take the four hours to watch this insightful mini-series that looks into the short life of this Memphis music phenomenon. It's not simply about the music. While important, it's not the full story. Creativity, poverty, and the cut-throat business that was recorded music back then. It gets personal, aspirational, and hopeful all laced with deep tragedy and the evil of racism we're all still confronting in the country. Recommend.
