I finally got hold of the government exhibit that SBF's lawyers worried prosecutors were using just to "show that he’s some sort of crazy person"
The document was to try to iron out a bad relationship between Alameda Research (trading firm with his ex-girlfriend Caroline Ellison as CEO) and Modulo Capital (trading firm co-founded by his ex-girlfriend Xiaoyun "Lily" Zhang).
Can't imagine why things were strained.
SBF had invested at least $400 million in Modulo Capital, against Ellison's wishes, and at later points spoke of wanting to shut down Alameda and have Modulo replace Alameda's role on FTX.
The shutdown didn't happen at least in part because Gary Wang pointed out he couldn't just shut down a firm that had borrowed billions of dollars in FTX customer funds.
This may be the "logistical/etc. reasons not to merge Alameda and Modulo" that SBF refers to in this document.
@molly0xfff I’m kind of curious what he thinks a wave function is.

Or uncanny valleys
