Dance of the Butterflies

Several months ago, while we were out for a walk, I spotted two white butterflies fluttering over tiny yellow flowers and was lucky enough to capture the moment on camera. I'm fairly confident they are cabbage white butterflies (Pieris rapae), but I'd love to hear from any fellow butterfly enthusiasts who can verify the species or suggest corrections.

If you're captivated by the delicate beauty of butterflies and the graceful allure of dragonflies, my photo gallery is the perfect place for you. You'll find an enchanting collection of both, each image highlighting the intricate details and vibrant colors of nature's winged wonders. Come on in and explore the charm captured through my lens!

@Swede1952
We get a lot of those around here in the summer. They always seem to be fluttering around aimlessly, but obviously their system works for them.

The system must. I don't see many of these or at least haven't noticed. I think that the most butterfly sightings for me are Red Spotted Admirals.
