@Morning You get some love from for that post 😃

@Morning

Thank you, I despise that awful phrase with a passion. It needs to die already.

@Morning

One cannot separate the sin from the sinner anymore than one can separate Christ from Christians. No wait...nevermind.

@Morning
First off I do realise that you didn’t say this you are copy pasting someone else saying this but as you did post it I’m assuming you agree with what they said.
I don’t have any problem with “hate the belief love the believer” as long as you actually legitimately love the believer. I know many people who I disagree with very deeply and still love very deeply. I think the Christians you talk to are just inconsistent Christians.

@Morning
I cannot believe people are favouriting my reply lol I want to make it clear I’m a Christian that believes in both statements “hate the sin love the sinner” and “hate the belief love the believer” as long as both statements are actually said in love.

@Morning theu would really hate my "hate the religions and dislike the religious."

@GM_Ray @Morning they really don't like it when I tell them the religious are inherently immature.

@Morning

Hate the hypocrisy, love the mockery.

(this is kind of fun!)

@Morning Don't worry, my parents who kicked me out for having been outed as a lesbian always remember to tell me they either were forced to do it because 'they love me so much and don't want me to end in hell' or just unwillingly admit their religion is a hive mind that instantly rejects fiercely anything that's out of the norm.

Their take has always been that I hurt THEM and if there's ever going to be any kind of true reconciliation, it's me who has to ask for forgiveness.

It has now been 26 years and I haven't found it in myself to say 'sorry I forced you to kick me out '.

@aamurusko79 @Morning 🫂You may not need to hear this from an internet stranger, but you didn't deserve that at all.
Also, the sheer "no u" of their argument is infuriating. It's such a bullying thing to say to someone

@Byrdbrnz Thanks! It has been a long time so it isn't such a sore spot, but at times I have to give the topic a poke when the topic of 'we love you but we hate the core essence of you' of religion comes up.

@aamurusko79 I am so sorry, and I don’t blame you. The rigid rules of religions seem to cause so many people unnecessary pain.

@aamurusko79
Your inability to apologise to them for your transgression will limit your personal growth. Consider forgiveness.

(I am absolutely being sarcastic. Eff them.)

@Morning these are not people you can trust. Anyone turning to the magical and superstitious nonsense are already telling you they don’t know right from wrong without an invisible man looking over their shoulder. They will never be friends that accept you as anything other than project work to be sliced up and delivered like so much meat.

Tolerance is a scam perpetuated by bigots who want to be left alone about their fuckery.

Acceptance or GTFO.

@Morning Oh, I like this. I like this a lot.

@Morning
I am informing you of theft.
I will be using that without attribution.

also- thank you

@Morning they are hypocrites, just scratch the surface to find out why.

@Morning thanks! I'm definitely going to use that phrase

@Morning I say something similar: "Love the bigot, hate the bigotry."

Y'all. They Get So Mad.

@RamenCatholic 🙌🏼

Lol that’s a good one.

@Morning It seems to happen with religious people that even if you aren't directly interacting with them, they're offended by things shared that are about atheism but they'll still try to convert your. 🤦🏻‍♀️
