I note a forest fire today in Louisiana. See first two graphics...IR and visible light.

It appears that Louisiana is outside of the Watch Duty monitoring area?

But with changes to what regions are catching fire more often...they may need to expand their monitoring area.

I live in New Mexico. When I drive west across TX or OK to get to NM...I remember lush green vegetation extended to almost the TX panhandle. But this graphic shows that lush green region is supporting many fires today.

What will we see in 5 - 10 years?
