I don't know who needs to hear this but it is completely OK for you as an adult to buy yourself an advent calendar.
Any kind. Not just makeup or whiskey. You can buy a calendar with Spiderman toys if that's what you want. It's kind of the entire point of being an adult.
(Also, if you did buy a fun calendar, and you want to nerd out about it, please share :) )
I couldnt agree more. I bought this beauty for myself from a lovely local stationery shop. I don't go in for the choc calendars as they mass produced marketing and a bit souless. But I do keep a little pot of chocolates near it so I can treat myself each day
