Obama has nothing to say about what Trump is doing, but he did post his NCAA bracket.

Biden has nothing to say about what Trump is doing, but he found time to post about St. Patrick's Day.

Harris has nothing to say about what Trump is doing, but she tweeted to celebrate International Women's Day.

It's not just Schumer. Dems have no idea how to mount a meaningful resistance. It's just BAU with them while the US descends into a Constitutional crisis. Hand the keys of the party to AOC, please!

@augieray

They all cashed in their chips. They won. They don't feel the need to cater to the "losers" because they got theirs. It's a pack of sell-outs. Everyone knows it.

Bernie is right and has been right, the corporate wings of both parties are fetid bought and paid for garbage.

The GOP is worse, but they both stink

@IntentionallyBLANK @augieray Part of the problem is that people continue to think of the Democrats as a progressive, liberal party. They aren't, they're pretty much the epitome of a conservative party. They rarely make any large changes, doing as little as necessary to portray themselves as the shield against Republicans (while using them as a shield against progressives), though they'll parade small changes around like they're enormous victories, otherwise they hold the status quo.

INTENTIONALLY blank

@StarkRG @augieray

True. One more appeal to incrementalism and I think I'd lose it.

The one bright side, if I can see any bright side, is that after Trump, everything will need to be rebuilt. And hopefully everyone will have such a bad taste in their mouths over oligarch antics that the rich will be held accountable and laws will start to apply to everyone. (Ok that last one might be a little "big rock candy mountain" of me, but I can dream.)

Frankly, I'd like to live in the kind of country that would've elected Nader in 2000 and Bernie in 2016. Not Bush and Trump.

But that's me. The hot garbage the corporate Dems have sold since I was a kid is a nonstarter for me.
