He was shot in the camp on 27 May 1942.

Mr. Ekeilski was a victim of the brutal pattern. Usually men, facial bruises in the photos, often around the eyes: dead in a few days or weeks.
Does anyone know what, if anything else, they had in common? Why were they selected to enter the camp but literally marked for early death inside?
