I wish there was a usable open source answer to YouTube. Peertube by it's decentralized nature unfortunately can't really provide the same thing.
I always thought there should be a public institution that just builds and maintains data centers to provide people resources to use for non-profit applications. Google-like infrastructure without the Google.
