@georgetakei Jim Jordan seems oblivious that the IOC awards the games to cities not countries. If LA cannot host them they would probably fall to one of the other applicants, not a different US city.

It also takes *far* longer than 3 years to prepare to host the Olympics.
Since hosting the Olympics does lasting economic damage to the host city, along with other harms, maybe Gym Jordan should get his wish. And then take the blame.
