@georgetakei I still think about this whenever I hear a fax machine go off because it was what kicked me off the Internet in my teen years. That rang and I had 2-3 minutes to wrap up whatever I was doing before losing connection.

It knew what was coming and we shrugged it off. So naive in hindsight …
