It's probably impossible to make a plate of haggis, neeps, and tatties look attractive and appetising, too much beige .

My attempts at quenelles for the tatties were pathetic and took so long that I abandoned the idea, everything was in danger of being stone cold. So the haggis was dumped on the plate, and the sauce on top. This was the best-looking of the lot. However, it was quite delicious.

Now down to some serious sipping, sharing and enjoying the company of friends
