13 years ago I built a replica of an iconic doghouse for my holiday display. Every Christmas since, it has been in my yard for 4-5 harsh winter months. It really needed a refresh.

Early last year, I started planning renovations to re-side and re-roof the display before installing programmable LED lights in time for Halloween.

How did I do it? Lots of research, planning, some setbacks, and many triumphs. I'm proud of the accomplishment and hope my series of 3 blog posts with walk-throughs and materials on the project will inspire other makers out there.
