Does magic remain magical? Imagine how amazing a cell phone like we have today, would have been forty years ago.
When my father was born electric switches were not common. When he grew up there were no plastic toys. At one time these things were magical. Now, not so much.

Technology appears less and less like magic as users get comfortable with it.
