Joe Biden continues to exceed expectations. Even when sandbagged.
It's truly shocking to me that an 80-something year old man has a pretty harsh fall, but breaks zero bones and pulls zero muscles, and just gets up like nothing happened.
I would have ended up with at least a messed-up ankle, and I'm a few decades younger than #PresidentBiden. Many people his age would have broken a hip.
When you bust your ass, first you assess the damage. If there isn't any, you get up & knock the dust off. I hang out with skaters & BMX peeps older than me, too.I have some kind of Klutz gene. Every time I've fallen in the past couple of decades (even if it's just tripping and falling on the sidewalk), a hospital and/or a pair of crutches has been involved.
I *should* be used to falling by now, but I still get messed up. Other family members are the same way. And as they have gotten elderly, they are far more prone to injury than me.
Maybe there's also some kind of DNA for invulnerability, but I know I sure as heck don't have it in my family.
