As Jim Jordan tries to inserts his committee improperly into state prosecutions once again, a reminder of why he is even in Congress in the first place. This is his district in Ohio. One of the most gerrymandered in the nation.

Paul Kuyper

@georgetakei I’m not trying to excuse the gerrymandering but according to what I’m seeing, this is what his district looks like:

@8bit_PK @georgetakei
No, I see now. You have the map that was enacted in January of this year. Technically that wouldn't be the one he was elected under ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@RnDanger @georgetakei ahhh. 😁

So there’s hope that he can’t get elected again?

@8bit_PK @RnDanger @georgetakei

#Ohio Debbie Downer here.

The January maps diluted the Columbus progressives. The maps aren't designed so Jordan will win. If he was in a non-gerrymandered district he would win. That is just how that part of Ohio is.

The maps were designed to make Democrats lose in other districts.

Still, keep a good thought. ohiosos.gov/globalassets/publi

@paul @RnDanger @georgetakei dang. Like district 15 for example? 🙄

@8bit_PK @RnDanger @georgetakei

Yes. Also, districts 5, 7, 11 and 13 were specifically designed to dilute Cleveland progressive voters and create an electorate more favorable to Republicans when the ballot counting is done.
