How I shot the clock photo:
To capture a reflection, the intended source has to be well lit. I started by aiming 2 flashes where my face would be. I used hard light because it was easier to get intense light on my face and control spill without dealing with big modifiers.
The rest of the clock was still dark. To light it, I added a softbox behind it on the left, a reflector on the right and another reflector right under the camera.

I always meant to do more with #reflections, and now I finally got around to it.
I shot this #SelfPortrait for the cover art of a single I'm releasing soon. This was all done in camera - that's my actual reflection. Getting the lighting just right was a pain, but I'm happy with how it came out. I'll post about the process/setup later today.
