An excellent #StDavidsDay walk yesterday on the #WalesCoastPath to see St Tudwal's lighthouse. On an island off the Llŷn Peninsula, it was built in 1877 and is still working, now with an LED light. The island was once owned by Clough Williams-Ellis, creator of the nearby Portmeirion Italianate village, and is currently owned by TV adventurer Bear Grylls.

I went to a #StDavidsDay event today. Theres never been one in my city at this scale before, but my experience at the Celtic Festival that used to happen here taught me to have low expectations. Despite that, I was still borderline offended. The performer was a local singer wearing a kilt 
and singing Irish folk songs. Like… wtf. That’s like hosting a Canada Day celebration with everyone dressed like Texan cowboys while playing American folk songs.
