Chris Henrick<p>Watching people tackle the “around the SF Bay” mountain bike race yesterday and today has been fun. Rooting for my friend Kurt who is currently in tenth place, I got to shout at him as he road up to the entrance to Redwood Park in Oakland. I can’t imagine doing 250 miles and 24k feet of elevation, much of it on dirt, over two days. Endurance athletes are super human, and also a bit crazy. </p><p>Here’s the route with live updates:<br><a href="https://trackleaders.com/bikepackbay25f" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">trackleaders.com/bikepackbay25</span><span class="invisible">f</span></a></p><p><a href="https://indieweb.social/tags/cycling" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cycling</span></a> <a href="https://indieweb.social/tags/mtb" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mtb</span></a> <a href="https://indieweb.social/tags/bikeTooter" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>bikeTooter</span></a> <a href="https://indieweb.social/tags/SFBayArea" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SFBayArea</span></a></p>
