Les arguments avancés : créer de l'emploi. Des emplois sous payés pour des pâtisseries mauvaises destinées à l'exportation. De plus, aucune des matières premières ne viendra de Bretagne, alors même que la consommation en eau potable de l'usine doublera la consommation d'eau potable actuelle de Liffré. Liffré et la Bretagne n'a donc rien à gagner avec ce projet hors sol et d'un autre temps.
