“Don’t believe everything you think.”
Best bumper sticker ever. When I first saw it, years ago, I hadn’t even heard the term “limiting beliefs,” but it was crystal clear to me that believing everything that went through my head wasn’t good for me. Read on for some tips on how to beat this pattern:

Are you stuck believing too many of the things that go through your head? Limiting beliefs preventing you from getting where you want to go? I’ve been helping people work through that since before most of us had smartphones—book a consultation call to talk about how I can help.
This is something that I learned from sponsoring a professional bodybuilder. If I want to get better at something, there’s going to be some work involved. Some of that work is going to be stuff that I don’t want to do in the moment. But, it doesn’t matter why I do it, it just matters that I do it.
- Exercising so that I can look better? Still going to get the health benefits.
- Showing up to class just to prove wrong the person who said I couldn’t do it? Still going to learn some things.
- Continuing to meditate because someone told me I’d probably give up? Still going to get the benefits.
It doesn’t matter why I do the work, as long as I do the work.
If you’re getting stuck finding motivation to get better, schedule a consult to see how I can help.
“I keep starting things, but I can never keep going after a while.”
“I wish I could stick with things long enough to get really good at them.”
