Me, who habitually skips, mutes or otherwise avoids watching commercials by or for the benefit of #Trump, the fossil fuel industry or any business with "Patriot" in their name just dumped out of a YouTube video that was preceded by an unskippable advert for "Patriot Urgent Care". Still wanting to watch the video, I clicked back into it. This time, the unskippable advert was for _Handmaid's Tale_.
#irony or merely coincidence?
Side note....
Google is supposed to be this tailored advertising behemoth that's spent billions on technologies to figure out how best to advertise to people. Why:
• Can they not figure out which commercials I absolutely refuse to watch?
• Why do they not have any kind of "don't show me content from this entity" button (since all the billions they've spent on machine learning apparently needs the help)
