Aubrey Jones<p>In general, I find physics-like magical systems very tedious. I want magic in stories to be explicitly outside the physical, causal reality that we experience daily. The "rules" should not depend on measurable, observable qualities or quantities within the world of the story.</p><p>If the rules exist "inside" the world, that's just alternate physics.
