Streaming is built for more. More options, more perspectives, more ways to meet different families where they are. Adding the #GLAAD edit wouldn’t disrupt that model — it would fulfill it. This is exactly the kind of moment streaming was made for.

There are families who need this. Parents who want stories that reflect the world their kids are growing up in. Kids who need to see that being different doesn’t mean being alone. The current episode opened the door. The #GLAAD edit could let them walk through it.

#Disney+ already has parental controls. Families can restrict by rating, filter by profile, or tailor access however they need. There’s no need for one-size-fits-all storytelling. The #GLAAD edit could easily live behind the same opt-in settings many parents already use.

#GLAAD appears in the credits for Win or Lose. That means they were consulted. And if they were consulted, there was likely a version of Kai’s episode they helped shape—one that offered a more direct, affirming portrayal. That version matters. It still has a place.
