Eight years ago, today, we brought Kaiya home from the rescue organization that we got her through. She's our third dog through them (all three of my wife's dogs were through them; each of my three has come through different rescues).

Diese Woche machen wir Futter für Käthe und Marie.
Die beiden werden von klein auf von uns ernährt und sind inzwischen wahre Profis.
Sie bekommen artgerecht eine Mahlzeit pro Tag und sind schlank, agil und voller Lebensfreude.
This evening I had to go to the grocery store and when I left there was a sweet doggo hanging out in the parking lot. He looked like hound+healer, he was too skinny and he had a little abscess on his face. Several people said 'he's here all the time'. He let me pet him, and he took a little food from me, but he did not let me get a leash on him.
That's how close we were to having three dogs.

Using Moxxi as the backdrop for some useless knowledge that will hog up some space in your brain forever.
I brought back some 꼬깔콘 ("kkokkal corn", if they look like Bugles, it's because they are) and my korean friend said "eat them with vanilla ice cream". And I said absolutely not. He said I swear it's a thing. Long story short, only Moxxi is thrilled with the combo. Koreans are silly geese.
