If you are in the US please #callyoursenators to reject the proposed CR #fundingbill!! This #continuingresolution hands the keys over to #trump and #musk to ransack our #government for the next 6 months. #TrumpRegime and #MuskNazi are ignoring law while the government is open. Being closed won't change much except give up #democrats, who are the #MinorityParty in both Senate and House, last #bargainingchip for 6 months. So much #damage has been done in less than two months, in 6 months there may be little to save.

The #GOPfascists Speaker Mike Johnson quickly rammed the CR through the #houseofrepresentatives by offering #gopcowards representatives conflicting promises. He then forced the House to break and end their session of Congress, which limited the #senate to accept the CR or let the government shut down. Budgets need to be #bipartisanlegislation. Furthermore, #TrumpLies and #muskrat have illegally #impounded funds approved by #congress, showing that budgets need to be enforced or Congress is a #powerlessshell. The #goptraitors has signaled for the last two months that they have no interest in protecting their co-equality as a branch of government. If #democratsawol give up their last position of #power, Congress will be #beholden to the Executive Branch. They will have #surrendered their #constitutional responsibility to act as a backstop to #executiveoverreach. Call your Senators to hold them #accountable to the people.
