trump didn't cancel any tariffs today, only #DougFord did. there was already planned for tonight a 25% tariff on steel and aluminum. That's been in place for a month or so.

It was going to be, at one point, 25% wide spread tariff PLUS 25% on steel & alum starting tonight. he already paused the initial 25%, but the second 25% is still happening according to CNN

He continues to bluff as his stock markets implode

Eff me, Canadian media have become a bunch of credulous lapdogs—CBC huffing and drooling at the front of the dog-walker’s pack of the tamed, submissive animals.

Not one story I’ve heard yet of Doug Ford’s latest interaction with Washington has mentioned the coincident hammering the market has been taking as the tariff idiocy escalates and Trump’s desperate need for an out.

They’ll be back. Ford has been used.
