I’ve been asked a few times to see my process.
For digital art, I mainly use Procreate. Here is a time lapse video of one of my favourite DnD commissions from last year. I am also still available for commissions for anyone who would like an image of their character in this style.

When working on a character I like to work out the rough physical utility of their clothes before moving on to the visual aspects of how they decorate.
Today's thought/ need to ramble is: footwear.
Nymeria is a #werewolf . She's pragmatic, so her footwear choice ends up looking like a low ankle leather boot/shoe with a loose leather gaiter over top. The overall effect is like a knee-high boot that separates at the ankle making it easier to shed while transforming and avoid getting caught up&/or damaging her footwear

MurXEiner meiner Spieler hatte sich eine sehr elegante Schusswaffe gewünscht. Aus Backstory und Gesprächen mit dem Spieler weiß ich grob worauf er hinaus will. Ich will aber kein Schwarzpulver in meiner D&D Schwertküste. Ich hatte überlegt ihn Pläne für diese "Repetierhandballestrina" finden zu lassen. Die Gruppe dürfte, wenn er die Waffe hergestellt hat Stufe 6 erreicht haben. Die Waffe soll schon sehr mächtig sein, aber natürlich dadurch Flaws haben. Was meint ihr? Passt das so?
