A few wild flowers I saw on my trip to the coast yesterday. It was a lovely stroll in the dunes in sunny Aberdeenshire.

20/04/2025 - An afternoon walk that was so nice we didn't get back until after the sun set. The weather at the coast was lovely today. Not too warm, not too cold, a nice breeze and plenty of sunshine. Not too busy either. Lots of wonderful wild flowers and birds to see. We took tea with us as I guessed we wouldn't want to rush.

One of my favourite things about my mother's garden is the way Mexican Fleabane seeds itself around everywhere on her patio and in various walls in the garden. Some plants from around #Wendover this weekend. Hairy Bittercress from my mother's garden path, Shining Cranesbill and Cowslip from a road verge and Yellow Corydalis from the shared church building that's either St Anne's RC church or Wendover Free Church depending on the time of day.
