These times are too much for any thinking, feeling person to handle.

That's why RPGs are better with a party.

Unfortunately IRL local #community & #MutualAid groups are tough to come by for a variety of reasons. One of my many goals is to encourage them whenever possible, but until then we have the Fediverse.

I wonder how many people reading this are lonely. Do you have more time on your hands than friends?

Did you know that you don't have to buy a police scanner to listen to most of the traffic?

Some great info:
"Scanner Radio for Android (there is an iOS port, IIRC). Listen to near-realtime feeds of public safety channels across the US. Great way to stay informed.

There's a free version of the app but the paid version has no ads and some other goodies. Been using it almost daily since 2012 or so."
