The main body of the lamp is made from concrete that is held up by four slender stainless steel legs made of threaded rods
For safe shipping 
the stainless steel legs 
will be detached from the main body . You will have to install these yourself. It is very simple and can be done without tools. Clear instructions will be provided

Here's a couple of lucky shots straight outta the SD card. This is my DIL who came to perform at the Quincenera with my stepson and stilted on the dance floor. She's a pro stiltwalker (how many families can say they have one of those in the ranks?) and she was spinning LED arrays. Room was very dark so I cranked ISO to 16,000 and guessed on F/stop and shutter speed. This is the result, more of these to come.
The cast aluminium of an old pump forms the lamps housing. Four slender stainless steel stilts hold the lamp above a robust terrazzo base.

She had a little difficulty going under the old bridge at Viewforth! But she managed!
Back in the day (up until the early 1960’s) my fathers family lived in a house similar to this in #Queensland.
The #stilts allowed for cool air to pass through in summer & also helped with #flooding.
But then fashions changed & everyone wanted a #house like they saw on TV. A California bungalow or similar.
