Happy #SofaSunday! It’s a cloudy day, but temperatures are unseasonably warm, heading well into the 70Fs.

Yesterday I noticed 2 toads emerging from where they’d buried themselves for winter hibernation. They both sat quietly in the sun for a long time. Later I noted the larger toad had retreated back into his hole. I can’t say as I blame him.

Hey, y'all . It's a wet n rainy start to my #SofaSunday morning here #today. I guess it's supposed to stay this way most of #myday and get heavier n nastier overnight tonight.

So, I suppose, a perfect day to sit back on my sofa, sip slowly on my morning coffee, and surf my way through the day. ️

I have absolutely no other plans beyond maybe grabbing another cup of coffee and watching the wind whip up the rain. Perhaps some lounging n listening to some calming classical music or maybe a snooze or two.

But, it's too early to be pondering such heavy thoughts. There's coffee still to sip, eyes to open n focus, and yawns to muffle ️

It's been a good day of doin next to nothing #today.

Y'all would be so proud of me and my earnest lack of doin's. I've spent the whole day lounging around, slacking off and just sitting n sipping and munching #myday away. Ya would think I was celebrating #SofaSunday or something

Even got the wife fixing dinner for us tonight.

So, I'm thinking it's been a day of not doing well done.

Hope y'all have been as successful at slacking this #Slackerday.if not, there's always tomorrow's sofa surfing.

Hey y'all . Happy "trash day" Thursday to ya.

I'm up n sorta stiffly moving this sunny morning. I'm thinking it's from actually working a few muscles that haven't been too active for awhile. So, I'm not sure what this old body is gonna let me do #today.

It's a pleasant 47deg start to #myday here #today and heading into the 80s. Yeah, that hot already and no rain expected to dampen my trip with the bin #today.

I'm wondering if some "nine-to-fiver" somehow drew their attention away from me to have em saving their rain to mess with somebody else's plans. That seems to be their action plans as of late. Nice all week and rainy, stormy stuff for the weekends.

Not that I care, them being my slack off #Slackerday's and sofa surfing #SofaSunday's. But kinda feel sorry for those who actually wanna do something useful then.

Welp. Enough thinking about stuff so early before coffee ️. Y'all have a happy Thursday.

Yeah. I know it's #SofaSunday n all, and I'm not supposed to expend any energy on doin much of anything #today.

But I got a craving for some lentil manwich sandwich stuff. So I actually got off my comfy couch to brew up a big pot of the stuff.

Should be ready be lunchin munching time.

Other than that, it's been a quiet n relaxing day dedicated to stepping outside for some sitting n sipping in the sunshine as this pasty white body will tolerate .

It's supposed to hit very close to 80deg #today and being bright n sunny until some rain storms roll in later in #myday. So, sorta trying to take advantage of the sunshine while I can, but not get myself all burnt in the process.

Yeah. Lots of work for a sofa surfing day. But ya gotta do what ya gotta do, I suppose.

Good morning and happy #SofaSunday! It's been 2 weeks since the time change + I still have a hard time getting out of bed before the sun. I force myself and then spend a long time getting started. I know this is a silly complaint, but I'm not used to so many days of waking up without energy + motivation. Thank goodness sunrise is slowly getting earlier. Maybe that'll fix things.

On a better note, it's Sunday, a day to chill. Enjoy your chance to relax, if you've got it.

Welp, the sun is up. So I guess it's morning already. And if I listen closely, I can hear the coffee brewing, so I suppose that confirms it.

I'm not sure that I'm ready to heed their calling, but starting #myday sitting n sipping in the morning sunshine have proven to be a requirement lately to get my day properly underway. So, it's up n attem and time to stagger out to my coffee and get #today's sofa surfing and couch potato-ing earnestly started.

There's just my usual day of doin nothin on my Sunday schedule #today. Just a load of sitting around like some lazy bum and maybe making a hearty breakfast to feast on.

Welp, the sun awaits n there's coffee to sip. So y'all have a restful and relaxing day #today.

Happy #SofaSunday. Some weak sun is out for the first time in days. It’s a nice way to start the day. By evening we’ll have storms, so I’ve moved my daughter’s birthday dinner a little earlier.

The cake is ready, which is the important part, at least in my family. In the meantime, I’ll enjoy a quiet day. I wish you the same.

Welp, we weathered the storming yesterday without the weather gods getting us much more than just wet. All the really heavy n terrible tornado stuff slipped by just to the north- west of us n barreled east n away. So, I slept peacefully to wake up to the sun shining to join in on my morning sitting n coffee sipping. ️

Being #SofaSunday, there's little on my Honey-doin agenda #today. Just a big, hearty breakfast feasting and spending #myday doin' lots of nothing but more sitting in the sunshine, sipping on something, and maybe more napping on my comfy couch.

Y'all try to have a relaxing n restful day of doin' nothin' today, too.

It's been a gray n windy day so far #today. I haven't found much motivation nor energy to do much of anything here either.

Once my solemn Sunday duty of fixing n eating our special Hearty Sunday Breakfast was successfully chewed n swallowed, I've spent #myday just sitting back in my comfy chair, getting a nice massage while sipping on something and napping some in the quiet.

No TV nor music playing either. Except just some tunes from the wind chimes singing n swinging in the wind outside my window to entertain me.

Yup. My day is going great for #SofaSunday sofa surfing sorta standards.

Happy #SofaSunday! I woke up at my regular time, but the clock told me I “should” be almost done with my coffee and have laundry started already. I don’t appreciate that quiet nagging. I’ll spend the day adjusting to the new schedule that is just shifted enough to be slightly annoying. Oh well, first world problems.

Meanwhile, the sun is out so I’ll follow my cats’ example and park myself in a sunny spot while I continue waking up.

Hey, y'all . I'm sorta up "late" to find it a dark n cloudy start to #myday #today. Even calls for rain this morning. But at least it's kinda warm at 50 degrees. Though only expected to rise just a bit today into the upper 50s.

it being sofa surfing #SofaSunday as well as the start of daylight saving time, I suppose a late start is just a perfectly fine today.

Heck. Even the sun is late rising n shining, and the coffee slow in brewing up. So, I guess me being late staggering out in search of it and sitting to see if the sun will rise is OK .

Welp. I suppose my big plans for today will include changing all these stupid clocks to the new "real" hours. Especially the coffee pot, if I'm gonna be forced to follow along with the rest of the waking world so early in the day.

Hope y'all find the time to slowly flow through this crazy messed up timey thing, and cope quickly over an extra coffee and lots of couch potato-ing #today.

Welp, my fedi-friends, #today looks like it's gonna be an extra miserable Monday morning here. Besides the normal stack of stuff set aside from my celibration of #Slackerday Saturday and my sofa surfing #SofaSunday, I get to play that monthly game of "Rich Man for a Day" #today!

Yup. My monthly money has successfully been secured and is sitting in my plus column account, awaiting to cross the column to the bill paying side and moving me back to pauper personhood status again.
