first lesson on the new phone ... when I turned the watermark on, I thought it would be the same as my previous... ha! After this snap, had to go in and reset the watermark as my handle + date/time stamp

Early morning just before sunrise at a vast wetland. A grey fog is rising above the reeds and marsh grasses. Today was sunny with the odd shower, which made for some nice light and skies at Magor Marsh in South Wales.

Pictured is a sculpture of an 18th century 'brinker' - one who lived beside a 'reen' (drainage channel) in the marsh and was responsible for maintaining the bank. The brinker has nest boxes built into her pockets and was created by local willow-workers, Sarah Hatton and Melanie Bastier.
