Landon Krentz Landon Krentz – Creator and Lead Artist of The Little Prince Adaptation Landon Krentz is a visionary Deaf artist, storyteller, and advocate for Deaf-led performance art. With a deep passion for physical theatre, visual storytelling, and the transformative power of language, Landon specializes in creating work that bridges the gap between Deaf and hearing audiences. As the creator and lead artist of The Little Prince adaptation, Landon brings a fresh, imaginative perspective to this timeless tale, reimagining its journey through the rich and expressive lens of Physical Theatre, Visual Vernacular (VV) and Vertical Dance. Landon’s artistic achievements include JESSE: An ASL Opera, a groundbreaking operatic exploration of Deaf identity; A World Without Them, a compelling physical theatre  and visual vernacular piece developed during their residency at Ghost River Theatre; and the Deaf Artists Retreat, a transformative creative residency fostering collaboration and innovation among Deaf artists. Other work he’s created such as “The Confidence of a Deaf Queer Human” during his time at Soulpepper Theatre and “The Light of the Deep” at Inside Out Theatre’s studio. Now I think it was perhaps none of the neighbour’s business to ask about the new tenant, but given they had complained bitterly about every single previous tenant, the landlord was just keen to get them on side and restore calm to the neighbourhood.

The implication that anyone over the age of 70 is deaf and going to have their tv on loud is unfounded.

But it’s also sadly a sign that some think it’s acceptable to discriminate against those who are #deaf.
