Oh. WOW okay you really can't skip a dose of this stuff, can you.
Oh. WOW okay you really can't skip a dose of this stuff, can you.
I'm so friggin' hungry but I can't finish half of what I eat and nothing tastes good. This is not how I wanted to lose weight. Hoping the #Cymbalta side effects go away soon.
I'm in the weird place of having 5 months (yes, months) of #Duloxetine / #Cymbalta. That's 150 pills.
I don't want to waste them, but I don't take them anymore. Is there any way to get them to people who need it?
7 weeks on Duloxetine. Massive improvements to mood, energy, and pain! I feel like I have my life back again. POTS flare-ups aren't any more common but are more severe when I do have them, with added vertigo. (yay)
HOWEVER sleep isn't great. I don't feel rested in the morning. I guess it's Restless Leg Syndrome, they move all night. I've actually worn a hole in our sheet! Hoping this improves.
All in all, worth it.
I'm looking forward to not reading the #Cymbalta subreddit for poor suffering people tapering off ...and their helpers. I am way too sensitive to tapering off antidepressants, but I did it anyway. It was required before my periodic large panel of allergy testing. Tuesday, after I leave allergist's I will break my 24 hour caffeine fast with such joy, but MULISH part of me is saying "Hold up" to the plan to go right back on several meds....
Started #duloxetine (#Cymbalta for north Americans lol) today for the 1st time.
Hoping combined with starting + actually taking #Lamotrigine (#Lamictal - mood stabiliser) that it will help my mood.
I’ve been off meds for months so makes sense to start the new #antidepressants now (originally was moving from #sertraline aka #Zoloft but haven’t taken it in ages lol) so might as well give it a go.
Hoping for stability + renewed resilience/positivity but maybe a miracle ask #mentalhealth
Day three on Duloxetine. Lots of shakes and tremors, some nausea, very low appetite. No difference in mood yet, but mild increase in anxiety. POTS symptoms were a bit worse on day one but it passed quickly. Almost no EDS pain today, which is a very welcome change. Absolutely exhausted. If I'm still this tired after a week I'll try taking it at night instead of the morning. It's no picnic but I'm staying the course.
Sharing in the interest of rejecting the stigma around these things... I've added Duloxetine (Cymbalta) to the list of meds I take every day.
I am hopeful it will help with pain, but even more hopeful that it will boost my mental well-being, raise the bar of what I can accomplish in a day, and keep my spirits up while on this wild health journey.
Grew up ultra conservative #HomeSchooled in #NJ and #ME. Married a lesbian in #VA. Spent 13 years #Teaching 7th Grade English. Realized I’m #Queer and #AuDHD. Went #Polyamorous, got #Divorced, moved to #MD with my polycule to be a #Caretaker for wife’s father as he passed through #ALS. Helped wife with #Eldercare for her grandparents as they passed. Finally got on #Cymbalta for #Anxiety and #Depression and it has made life make so much more sense. Take care of your #MentalHealth!
I love my #SSRI
Like, life is still difficult at times, and I 100% self diagnose as #AuDHD ever since I learned what it feels like as an adult, which puts my normally easy mode life into… well… easy mode but with fewer QOL mods.
But even my worst days on #Cymbalta have been on par with an average day before.
@SaganandLoki aww hope you feel better #Wellbutrin really helps me, and #Cymbalta #antidepressants #Fibromyalgia and when I got my #hypothyroidism diagnosed, treated - dessicated or lab dessicated #thyroid meds my #depression (hope #s okay) has not ever come back the same - I have changed as well, energy work, spirituality, and you may already know all this, but
