Saw in theaters a few years back for an anniversary showing. Still hope to see it again for this latest run, but I've come down with a wicked head cold and I'm not sure I'll make it.

That said, if you haven't seen that film in the theater, even if you've seen it a hundred times, go!

It's a different experience than in the living room. Trust me.

I started this illustration back in February after listening to the track The Liminal on Chelsea Wolfe’s new album. The lyrics made me think of Granger Taylor, a Canadian man who was never seen again after leaving a note for his family stating that he was going to leave his life on Earth behind and travel the stars with extraterrestrials. The concept also made me think of my late mother, who was fascinated by aliens and had a few anomalous light sightings herself! This drawing took me out of my comfort zone, but I really liked the idea and my mom has been on my mind lately, so I found the drawing process to be cathartic 🛸💚 #alienday #scifi

Happy ALIEN Day.
Here's a book feat. some of Earth's own weird flora & another about Humanity's early attempts to learn what's "out there," beyond our barely understood planet. This book combo also reminds me of the fictional film Capricorn One, about a conspiracy to fake the Moon landings, starring James Brolin; whose son Josh was the alien Thanos in the MCU.
