@RichardJMurphy explains here that Labour 's Rachel Reeves could save unnecessary interest payments of £20 billion per year, which makes Labour's choice to cut funding for the elderly and disabled people even more blatantly a choice for necropolitics, IMO.

I shall complain a little bit on a stance from EFF and how I think they should be pushing harder. Not so long ago Australia decided to ban any platform where users can upload things, to anybody who is younger than 16 years. This is an ageist, paternalistic atrocity and has to be fought with viciousness. Yet EFF seem to only understand the ...

“The reality, of course, is that the pressure to maintain the appearance of youth (through methods that inevitably perpetuate classist, ageist and racist systems) is bankrupting, sickening and distracting practically every woman over the age of 25, with the new “tween skincare fans” fast catching up.” #ageism #racism #classicism

My wife went into the local IT shop for a laptop. The bearded youth (BY) came to the counter to serve her.

BY: Can i help you?
Her: I'm after a laptop.
BY: New or refurbished?
Her: Refurb will do.
BY: We have several. What sort of things will you be using it for?
Her: A bit of family history, emails and gaming.
BY: You will only need a basic one to play Solitaire.
Her: (cold Paddington Bear stare while she contemplated removing his kidneys with a blunt spoon) One with a separate graphics card, i5 at least and 32 GB RAM if you have it please.

She was fuming all the way home. I suggested that she should have challenged him to a play off on Lego Harry Potter (her current favourite on PS).

Despite my curated timeline #ageism scrolls by. People seem to think it is not ageism depending on who you are talking about, but it doesn't matter who in the world you are talking about ageism is still ageism just like #ableism is always ableism.
