My cat died last night. I’m still processing what happened.

@technicat Yes, I know what you're talking about. Originally I had 2 old cats. The one had full kidney failure a year ago, and this one died from infection. I did not even know that I could transfer RSV to cats. That makes it a bit harder to deal.
@zamackic Oh, I didn't know that either, sorry to hear that. It's hard to not to feel guilty no matter what. I just stick to cat cafe visits, enjoy the company without the responsibility or stress, try not to get sucked into adopting another one.

Yes. I already decided not to adopt another kitty, for the time being. I made that mistake with a dog. So I learned my lesson.

It's so hard losing our four footed family members. We just lost one of our dogs last week.
@caryn Virtual hugs. Yes, pets are family, and it is hard to lose them. They just do not last long enough.
