@steveirons @roweafr can you explain why you chose to post or reblog this cartoon? I don’t really get the point and am trying to understand. I am strongly against anti-semitism and am struggling with the images I see. Please share your viewpoint. Thank you.
@Elizabeth3 @roweafr My job as #alttext provider for #cartoonism is not issuing any comment just description for those who can't see enough to gain access to #cartoons. But to A your Q: my evaluation of the work is that it's about occupation of Palestine by Israel which is against international law & key thinkers across the world see it this way & it is not considered to be #antisemitic to be critical of this occupation, just #antizionism & there is nothing wrong with being critical of #zionism.
@Elizabeth3 @roweafr And it needs to understood that it is not the #antizionists that associate the important symbol of Judaism the star of david with violence against Palestinians but the state of Israel, itself.
@steveirons @roweafr I hear that. But imt trying to imagine a different religious symbol on a bathroom door whether it’s on a flag or a symbol of a state or not and I don’t like it.
@Elizabeth3 then I think you should take it up with the state of Israel to disassociate the Star of David from the state's flag, it's too important to Judaism to be dragged into its nasty Zionist activities which have dominateed their activities especially since occupation of the West Bank & Gaza Strip.
