Does anyone here host their own independent website? Are you using indie web building blocks to interact with people on other websites? I'd like to know more about your experience. Also anyone using neocities, I'd like to hear from you about how you like it.

@Skeeter I’ve used #faircamp to set up a static website for my (so far only) music release at anybodysking.com. It’s even part of a webring (remember those?!) It’s really simple though, so if you’re looking for something like a blog hopefully some else will jump in with their experience.
The code generated by faircamp includes an RSS feed, but I haven’t explored how to use it yet.
@scrummy Awesome. Thanks for the feedback. I'm just sorta looking to get off the silos and make my internet experience fun again. Not sure what direction I'll go in, but at the moment I'm dabbling with neocities and reading a lot about indieweb techniques.
