Robert Reich

All nine Republican senators running for reelection this year just voted against the right to contraception:

John Barrasso
Marsha Blackburn
Kevin Cramer
Ted Cruz
Deb Fischer
Josh Hawley
Pete Ricketts
Rick Scott
Roger Wicker

So much for the party of "freedom."

@rbreich How many kids does each have?

@wndlb @RBReich
Coward #tedcruz has two daughters. Makes sense that he votes against their healthcare and freedom. Vote him out, women of #texas !

@rbreich Hawley RUNNING for reelection, eh?

@adhdeanasl @rbreich Point the putz in the right direction and he’ll be out of town by sundown.

@rbreich

Ah, let me explain: To those guys, "freedom" doesn't mean, "you can do whatever you want to do." It means "you can whatever I want to let you do." By only slight extension, it also means, "I can do whatever I want to let me do." See how that leaves them thinking it's a fair definition? Everyone has the same unlimited right to do whatever they let a person do.

What could be fairer than that?

@rbreich

I said for years (with many others) that the GOP would be outlaw contraceptives after Roe went down. If you are not freaked out yet, you just don't care about women at all.

@MylesRyden @rbreich Exactly! The minute RBG died I was inconsolable! I saw the writing on the wall. The Republicans got their first non Viagra assisted hard on to wage a war on Women! Fuck every single Republican!!!!!

@rbreich And they feel safe to do so. It's up to their voters to prove them wrong. I'm not optimistic about any of the races except for Cruz's. In a sane world that worm with a face drawn on it Rick Scott would be facing another nail-biter but I think he finally wore Florida voters down.

@rbreich
I hope there is a TV ad ready and waiting to drop in these names

@rbreich Penis Ricketts, who’s daddy bought him the governer’s seat of Nebraska, wasn’t elected to be voting today. He was appointed by the current governor to fill the open spot when Ben Sasse left for Florida. Who financed the current governor of Nebraska gubernatorial campaign you ask? You guessed it. The Penis himself along with his mommy and daddy.

@rbreich

I wish there were more candidates to vote out.

@rbreich Geez next they will lock me up for having a vasectomy. Come to your senses in November.

@rbreich We need billboards with their names up everywhere

They must not be able to hide

We must not let this be forgotten

@rbreich So let’s see, republicans don’t want to pay for food stamps or other aid to women with dependent children nor do they wish for them to access contraception or abortion for any reason. Are they planning to watch women and children suffer hunger or homelessness as public SPORT? Sure looks like it. Republicans are increasingly evil and dangerous! VOTE DEMOCRAT UP AND DOWN

@LawrenceShop @rbreich They want people to be so poor that even their kids are forced to work in the slaughterhouses.

@rbreich At least two of these neanderthals are facing strong Democratic challengers. Not sure about the rest, but kick Cruz and Scott out of the Senate!

@rbreich Many(if not all) have also refused to accept the next election outcome! Government elections ARE NOT and NEVER HAVE BEEN Rigged

@rbreich
I, for one, cannot wait to vote against Ted "Smarmy Asshole" Cruz.

@rbreich Ireland had a referendum, here it’s guaranteed.

@rbreich Robert, not every single thing has to be legislated at the federal level. The states are sovereign entities too. You need to go back and learn government 101. It's called federalism.

@darkhorse1 @rbreich I keep forgetting they are still making this model of guy despite all the recalls

@rbreich So let me get this straight. Anti abortion contraception pre natal care pre school school lunches.

What is the end game for all these unwanted sick stupid kids that will grow up and not vote for you?

@rbreich

Many women didn't vote for Hillary Clinton because she was a woman, and voted for that horrible refuse of a human being.

Let's hope they'll go out and vote against a convicted sexual assault instigator and a convicted felon.

@rbreich Let's compare this list to, oh, we don't know, the January 6 apologists (and possible co-conspirators)... Wow! lotsa matches, who'd have thunk it?

@rbreich

All Nine GOP Senators voted against a woman's right to -- contraception --

Republicans want women to be brood cows.

Republicans.

@AnOldGuy @rbreich

You cannot vote for any Republican, for any position, at any level, in any state, city or town.
